“But perhaps most importantly, I think all of these issues would no longer be seen as ‘women's issues’. They would just be seen as basic issues of fairness and equality that everybody can get behind. So I think the question is, what would it take, actually, to build this women's political revolution?”
Cecile Richards is a politician and activist who founded an organization to train and mobilize women to create a multiracial, intergenerational movement for women’s equity. She recounts the progress women have made throughout US history, including the positive impact of having more women in political and legislative positions, and the movement of women who are working to achieve gender equality in political representation.
