Early this month, Our Secure Future’s Founder, Cynda Collins Arsenault, attended the Peace and Security Funders Group’s Federal Policy Briefing in Washington, D.C. The Gender and Conflict subgroup, of which Collins Arsenault is a member, met with some of the U.S. House of Representatives’ staff to encourage their continued support of the Women, Peace, and Security Act of 2017. The subgroup also requested that the U.S. House of Representatives hold hearings to support the participation of Afghan and Korean women at the peace talks in their countries.
